InfoManage Corporation was founded in 1995 to provide database administration services, targeting mainly small and medium sized businesses, and larger companies at the departmental level. It was built as a support company from the ground up, not a converted consulting or software company. For CEO Marc Neer, InfoManage is the culmination of over 25 years of information technology experience. He drew heavily on his Wall Street background, which included four years at Lehman Brothers building a worldwide database administration support organization. He has assembled a management team and staff with similar technology support experience, which gives InfoManage an in-depth understanding of the support requirements for mission critical applications.

Although InfoManage was started to provide database administration services for Sybase products, the plan was always to leverage our support methodology and offer support services for other infrastructure products. In 1998, we expanded our service offerings to include support for IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle database products. In 1999, we began offering other infrastructure support services, enabling us to provide our clients with the full range of information technology services. These include overall system monitoring, system administration, LAN administration, firewall administration, network management, desktop support, and help desk for HP, IBM, LINUX, Windows and SUN operating environments.
